Looks to me like a bloke covered in dust with water washing bits of it off.
It doesn’t show torture.
Yes, we’ve heard the Americans committed abuses but this picture proves nothing either way.
In fact this is an excellent photo as it shows the power of photography.
As I said to me it is ambiguous yet with a caption it can be used to portray abuse. The power of the media. Propaganda. For or against.
