Woman ‘detained’ for filming police search launches high court challenge

An article in today’s Guardian newspaper details another incident where police use the anti-terrorism powers to harass innocent people. In this case a team of police with sniffer dogs are working at a tube station, a man is searched and the girl friend films the incident on her mobile phone and is then handcuffed. It sounds like the police not only misuse their powers by hand cuffing the woman but are also overstepping their powers by performing random searches for drugs.
