There’s a new film out called District 9 by a South African guy named Neill Blomkamp.
It’s about aliens that land in South Africa.
I hear it’s based on a short named “Alive in Joberg” also by Neill Blomkamp.
The short looks very interesting;
But the trailer for the full length film looks liked the style has become more Holloywood.
Frequent fade to dark, lots of strong music, a lot of stuff being chucked around and more boring people shouting at each other. Personally I think the short looks better but I’m keen to see both.
