FRÜH
I was in Cologne this week and visited the excellent Fruh restaurant/brewery just by the Dome. Cavernous, many rooms, wooden tables scrubbed clean and a continuous supply of small glasses of Kölsch. What could be better? I ate a beautiful pigs foot with lots of crackling. Doesn’t sound like a good idea for the English palate but it was delicious.
In the hotel I was able to access the Internet and send emails using my iPhone connected to an Apple wireless keyboard. Mainly, it worked very well though it seemed to keep losing the connection and going dead only to come back again moments later. I shall return it to the Apple shop and see what they say. Note that one still needs a magazine to lean the iPhone on.
